Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, calming, hands-on treatment that supports the central nervous system and the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Using gentle pressure, this therapy helps release tension, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being.
This approach can be especially supportive if you are experiencing chronic pain, headaches and migraines, jaw or TMJ discomfort, tinnitus, lingering concussion symptoms, hypermobility syndromes, nervous system dysregulation, stress, anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, sleep challenges, digestive concerns, and general tension or imbalance.
Although techniques focus on the head, spine, and sacrum, the effects are felt throughout the entire body.
Craniosacral Therapy is performed fully clothed; loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.

Therapeutic Bodywork
Therapeutic Bodywork is an individualized session tailored to your goals and your body's current condition. Every session begins with an assessment, and treatment incorporates a variety of techniques based on your specific needs. We take a whole-body approach, rather than focusing only on where symptoms are felt.
Depending on your needs, a session may include craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, or osteopathic manual techniques. These modalities are typically performed clothed, so we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. Sessions also often integrate myofascial release, trigger point release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), ScarWork, silicone cupping, and gua sha techniques.
This service addresses a wide range of conditions, including chronic muscle or joint pain, recent sprains and strains, chronic headaches, posture-related discomfort, repetitive-use conditions (such as golfer's or tennis elbow), stress, and more.

Jaw (TMJ) Dysfunction Treatment
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ), or jaw joint, is a complex structure that can become painful, stiff, or restricted, often causing clicking or popping. At Align Bodywork, jaw massage focuses on relieving tension, reducing discomfort, and improving ease of movement in the jaw.
Gillian is trained in both external and internal jaw massage techniques and uses a gentle, informed approach tailored to your individual comfort and needs. Treatment addresses not only the jaw itself, but also related structures of the head, neck, and body that can contribute to jaw tension.
Please see our TMJ Treatment Page for more information.
Please note: If your jaw pain is new, sudden, worsening, severe, or if you have specific concerns about structural damage or instability of the jaw joint, we recommend consulting with your dentist prior to scheduling to rule out any dental or structural issues that may require medical attention.
New Clients
All new client appointments are 90-minute sessions. This time includes intake, assessment, and treatment. Each individual has a unique experience and goals. Our new client appointment is structured so that we can work collaboratively and customize your treatment. This includes reviewing your intake form, your goals, assessment (such gait and range of motion), and your preferences. Based on this, we integrate different techniques for your individual goals and concerns.
Please contact us at 541-241-6849 if you are interested in scheduling an appointment, have questions about our services, or would like guidance on whether our treatment approach is the right fit for your health needs. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave your name, contact information, and a brief message, and we will return your call within 1-2 business days.
Please note we are not accepting new clients who are minors or pregnant at this time.
